Jio is the name for the new all-India 4G network that is due to be launched by Reliance Industries Limited.
For around 10 months I’ve been Experience Planning Director as part of a small team from Dare who created an ‘agency in a box’ on-site in Mumbai.
Working in the thick of the huge teams forming there, we advised on best practice in user experience and design across their .com estate, as well as a huge suite of apps and services that will form the Jio proposition.
When Jio launches, it promises to achieve a number of ‘firsts’ for India. So the opportunity, and the challenge, was to re-imagine what a network could be and what it could offer, without the baggage of a legacy brand, and where customers may be experiencing this level of connectivity for the first time.
